1 And you were F25 dead R70 in F26 your trespasses and sins, 2 in which you formerly R71 walked according to the course F27 of this R72 world, according to the R73 prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the R74 sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we too all formerly R75 lived in the R76 lusts of our flesh, indulging F28 the desires of the flesh and of the mind, F29 and were by R77 nature children R78 of wrath, even R79 as the rest. 4 But God, being rich R80 in mercy, because of His R81 great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead R82 in F30 our transgressions, made us alive together with F31 Christ (by R83 grace you have been saved), 6 and raised R84 us up with Him, and seated R85 us with Him in the R86 heavenly places in Christ R87 Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches R88 of His grace in kindness R89 toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by R90 grace you have been saved through R91 faith; and that F32 not of yourselves, it is the R92 gift of God; 9 not R93 as a result of works, so that no R94 one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created R95 in Christ R96 Jesus for good R97 works, which God prepared R98 beforehand so that we would walk R99 in them.
11 Therefore remember that formerly R100 you, R101 the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called "Uncircumcision" R102 by the so-called "Circumcision," R102which is performed in the flesh by human hands-- 12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded R103F33 from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the R104 covenants of promise, having no R105 hope and without R106 God in the world. 13 But now in Christ R107 Jesus you who formerly R108 were far R109 off have F34 been R109 brought near by R110F35 the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our R111 peace, who R112 made both groups into one and broke down the barrier F36 of the dividing wall, 15 by F37 abolishing R113 in His flesh the enmity, which is the R114 Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make R115F38 the two into one R116 new man, thus establishing peace, R11716 and might reconcile R118 them both in one R119 body to God through the cross, by F39 it having put R120 to death the enmity. 17 AND HE R121 CAME AND PREACHED PEACE R122 TO YOU WHO WERE FAR R123 AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE WHO WERE NEAR R123 ; 18 for through Him we both have our R124 access in one R125 Spirit to the R126 Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers R127 and aliens, but you are fellow R128 citizens with the saints, F40 and are of God's R129 household, 20 having been built R130 on the R131 foundation of the R132 apostles and prophets, Christ R133 Jesus Himself being the corner R134stone,21 in R135 whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a R136 holy temple F41 in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built R137 together into a dwelling R138 of God in the Spirit.
