Isaiah 55:6
Seek [1] the LORD while He may be found; Call [2] upon Him while He is near.
Isaiah 55:7
Let [1] the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; [2] And let him return [3] to the LORD, And He will have compassion [4] on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly [5] pardon.
Isaiah 55:8
"For My thoughts are not your [1] thoughts, Nor are your [2] ways My ways," declares the LORD.
Isaiah 55:9
"For as [1] the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:10
"For as the rain [1] and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed [2] to the sower and bread to the eater;
Isaiah 55:11
So will My word [1] be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not [2] return to Me empty, Without accomplishing [3] what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:12
"For you will go out with joy [1] And be led forth with peace; [2] The mountains [3] and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees [4] of the field will clap their hands.
Isaiah 55:13
"Instead of the thorn [1] bush the cypress [2] will come up, And instead of the nettle [3] the myrtle will come up, And it [4] will be a memorial [5] [6] to the LORD, For an everlasting sign [7] which will [8] not be cut off."
