To the church R4 of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: 2 Grace R5 to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We ought always to R6 give thanks to God for you, brethren, R7 as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love R8 of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater; 4 therefore, we ourselves speak R9 proudly of you among the R10 churches of God for your perseverance F1 and faith in R10 the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure. 5This is a plain R11 indication of God's righteous judgment so that you will be considered R12 worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering. 6 For F2 after all it R13 is only just for F3 God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted and F4 to us as well when R14F5 the Lord Jesus will be revealed from R15 heaven with R16 His F6 mighty angels in R17 flaming fire, 8 dealing out retribution to those who do R18 not know God and to those who do R19 not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 These will pay the penalty of eternal R20 destruction, away R21 from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes to be glorified R22 in F7 His saints F8 on that day, R23 and to be marveled at among all who have believed--for our testimony R24 to you was believed. 11 To this end also we pray R25 for you always, that our God will count R26F9 you worthy of your calling, R27 and fulfill every desire for goodness R28 and the work R29 of faith with power, 12 so that the name R30 of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
