But God, being rich [1] in mercy, because of His [2] great love with which He loved us,
Ephesians 2:5
even when we were dead [1] in [2] our transgressions, made us alive together with [3] Christ (by [4] grace you have been saved),
Ephesians 2:6
and raised [1] us up with Him, and seated [2] us with Him in the [3] heavenly places in Christ [4] Jesus,
Ephesians 2:7
so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches [1] of His grace in kindness [2] toward us in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8
For by [1] grace you have been saved through [2] faith; and that [3] not of yourselves, it is the [4] gift of God;
Ephesians 2:9
not [1] as a result of works, so that no [2] one may boast.
