Ezekiel 23:14

"So she increased her harlotries. And she saw men portrayed [1] on the wall, images of the Chaldeans [2] portrayed with vermilion,

Ezekiel 23:15

girded with belts on their loins, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them looking like officers, like [1] the Babylonians [2] in Chaldea, the land of their birth.

Ezekiel 23:16

"When [1] she saw them she lusted [2] after them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea.

Ezekiel 23:17

"The Babylonians [1] [2] came to her to the bed of love and defiled her with their harlotry. And when she had been defiled by them, she [3] became disgusted with them.

Ezekiel 23:18

"She uncovered [1] her harlotries and uncovered her nakedness; then I [2] became disgusted [3] with her, as I [4] had become disgusted with her sister.

Ezekiel 23:19

"Yet she multiplied her harlotries, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel 23:20

"She lusted [1] after their paramours, whose flesh is like the flesh of donkeys and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

Ezekiel 23:21

"Thus you longed for the lewdness [1] of your youth, when the [2] Egyptians handled your bosom because of the breasts of your youth.
