1 Let love R620 of the brethren continue. 2 Do not neglect to show R621 hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained R622 angels without knowing it. 3 Remember R623 the R624 prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body. 4 Marriage R625is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for R626 fornicators and adulterers God will judge. 5Make sure that your character is free R627 from the love of money, being R628 content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I R629 WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU," 6 so that we confidently say,
"THE R630 LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID.
WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?"
7 Remember those R631 who led you, who spoke the R632 word of God to you; and considering the result F150 of their conduct, imitate R633 their faith. 8 Jesus R634 Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. 9 Do R635 not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be R636 strengthened by grace, not by foods, R637 through R638 which those who were F151 so occupied were not benefited. 10 We have an altar from R639 which those who R640 serve the tabernacle F152 have no right to eat. 11 For the R641 bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also, that R642 He might sanctify the people through R643 His own blood, suffered outside R644 the gate. 13 So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing R645 His reproach. 14 For here we R646 do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the R647 city which is to come.
God-pleasing Sacrifices
15 Through R648 Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice R649 of praise to God, that is, the R650 fruit of lips that give F153 thanks to His name. 16 And do not neglect doing good and sharing, R651 for with R652 such sacrifices God is pleased.
17 Obey R653 your leaders and submit to them, for they R654 keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let F154 them do this with joy and not with F155 grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
18 Pray R655 for us, for we are sure that we have a good R656 conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things. 19 And I urge you all the more to do this, so R657 that I may be restored to you the sooner.
Benediction
20 Now the R658 God of peace, who brought R659 up from the dead the great R660 Shepherd of the sheep through F156 the R661 blood of the eternal R662 covenant, even Jesus our Lord, 21 equip R663 you in every good thing to do His will, working R664 in us that which R665 is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to R666 whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
22 But I R667 urge you, brethren, R668 bear F157 with this F158 word R668 of exhortation, for I R669 have written to you briefly. 23 Take F159 notice that our R670 brother Timothy has been released, with whom, if he comes soon, I will see you. 24 Greet all R671 of your leaders and all the saints. R672F160 Those from Italy R673 greet you.
