Hosea 2:8

"For she does not [1] know that it was I [2] who gave her the grain, the new wine and the oil, And lavished on her silver and gold, Which they used [3] for Baal.

Hosea 2:9

"Therefore, I will take [1] back My grain at harvest [2] time And My new wine in its season. I will also take away My wool and My flax Given to cover her nakedness.

Hosea 2:10

"And then I will uncover [1] her lewdness In the sight of her lovers, And no one will rescue her out of My hand.

Hosea 2:11

"I will also put [1] an end to all her gaiety, Her feasts, [2] her new [3] moons, her sabbaths And all her festal assemblies.

Hosea 2:12

"I will destroy [1] her vines and fig trees, Of which she said, `These are my wages Which my lovers have given me.' And I will make [2] them a forest, And the beasts [3] of the field will devour them.

Hosea 2:13

"I will punish her for the days [1] of the Baals When she used to offer [2] [3] sacrifices to them And adorn [4] herself with her earrings [5] and jewelry, And follow her lovers, so that she forgot [6] Me," declares the LORD.
