Isaiah 13:19
And Babylon, [1] the beauty [2] of kingdoms, the glory of the Chaldeans' pride, Will be as when God overthrew [3] Sodom and Gomorrah.
Isaiah 13:20
It will never [1] be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation; Nor will the Arab [2] pitch his tent there, Nor will shepherds make their flocks lie down there.
Isaiah 13:21
But desert [1] creatures will lie down there, And their houses will be full of owls; [2] Ostriches also will live there, and shaggy [3] goats will frolic there.
Isaiah 13:22
Hyenas [1] will howl in their fortified towers And jackals in their luxurious palaces. [2] Her fateful time also will [3] soon come And her days will not be prolonged.
