Psalms 80:8

You removed a vine [1] from Egypt; You drove [2] out the nations [3] and planted [4] it.

Psalms 80:9

You cleared [1] the ground before it, And it took [2] deep root and filled the land.

Psalms 80:10

The mountains were covered with its shadow, And the [1] cedars of God with its boughs. [2]

Psalms 80:11

It was sending out its branches to [1] the sea And its shoots to the River.

Psalms 80:12

Why have You broken [1] down its hedges, [2] So that all who pass that way pick its fruit?

Psalms 80:13

A boar from the forest eats [1] it away And whatever moves in the field feeds on it.

Psalms 80:14

O God of hosts, turn [1] again now, we beseech You; Look [2] down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,

Psalms 80:15

Even the shoot [1] [2] which Your right hand has planted, And on the son [3] whom You have strengthened [4] for Yourself.

Psalms 80:16

It is burned [1] with fire, it is cut down; They perish at the rebuke [2] of Your countenance.
