Prayer for Victory over Enemies.
For the choir director. A Psalm of David.
1 May the LORD answer you in R519 the day of trouble!
May the name R520 of the God R521 of Jacob set you securely on high!
2 May He send you help from R522 the sanctuary
And support R523 you from Zion!
3 May He remember R524 all your meal offerings
And find R525 your burnt offering acceptable! F174 Selah. F175
4 May He grant you your heart's R526 desire
And fulfill R527 all your counsel! F176
5 We F177 will sing R528 for joy over your victory, F178
And in the name of our God we will set R529 up our banners.
May the LORD fulfill R530 all your petitions.
6 Now I R531 know that the LORD saves His anointed;
He will answer R532 him from His holy heaven
With the saving R533 F179 strength of His right hand.
7 Some boast F180 in chariots and some in horses, R534
But we R535 will F181 boast in the name of the LORD, our God.
8 They have bowed R536 down and fallen,
But we have risen R537 and stood upright.
