New American Standard Version
Zephaniah 2:8
"I have heard the taunting [1] [2] of Moab And the revilings [3] of the sons of Ammon, With which they have taunted [4] My people And become [5] [6] arrogant against their territory.
Zephaniah 2:9
"Therefore, as I live," declares the LORD of hosts, The God of Israel, "Surely Moab [1] will be like Sodom [2] And the sons of Ammon [3] like Gomorrah-- [4] A place possessed by nettles and salt pits, And a perpetual desolation. The remnant of My people will plunder [5] them And the remainder of My nation will inherit them."
Zephaniah 2:10
This they will have in return for their pride, [1] because they have taunted [2] [3] and become [4] arrogant against the people of the LORD of hosts.
