Badge of a confraternity affiliated to the Order of Our Lady of Mercy. It is white, one part bears a picture of Our Lady of Ransom, and the other simply of a smaller piece of white cloth. The summary of indulgences of the confraternity was last approved by the Congregation of Indulgences on July 30, 1868. The General of the Mercedarians communicates to other priests the faculty of receiving into the confraternity and of blessing and investing with the scapular.
