 הָוָא verb fall (Arabic id. e.g. of a star Qor 53:1) —

Qal Imperative Job 37:6 for he saith to the snow הֱוֵאאָֿ֑רֶץ Fall earthwards (an Arabizing usage).

הובנים see [ הָבְנִי].

הוד (√ of following; De Job 39:20 compare Bedouin crash, roar, resonance; 'weithin hallende Selbstverkündigung' Id. Psalm 8:6; but ordinarily means be Gentle, quiet, especially in speech).

[הָוָה] verb become (Arabic to fall (see הָוָא), also to gape or yawn, and to desire (compare הַוָּה): compare Fl De Job 6:2; Aramaic הֲוָא, the usual word for to be (probably originally to fall out, accidit, hence come to pass, come to be, γίγνεσθαι), Mishna id. very common) a rare synonym of הָיָה q. v. : —
