III δρυὸς ἄκρα, = cross ἀκρόδρυα, ib. 112. in Logic of Arist. τὰ ἄκρα are major and minor terms of syllogism, opp. to μέσον or middle, APr. 25b36, al. extremes in a proportion, Id. EN 1133b2.

Deuteronomy 4:32; Deuteronomy 28:64; Isaiah 13:5; Jeremiah 12:12.
