2. generally, change, θεὸς οὐδεμίαν ἐπιδεχόμενος μ. Arist. Mu. 400b29; μ. ἐκ τῆς οἰκείας φύσεως Phld. Rh. 1.216 S.; νόμου μ. Hebrews 7:12; esp. change of sides or opinions, ἐπὶ τὸ βέλτιον Plb. 1.35.7, cf. Porph. 1. a transfer: from one place to another (Diodorus 1, 23); τίνος (genitive of the object), the translation of a person to heaven, Hebrews 11:5.
2. change (of things instituted or established, as ἱερωσύνης, νόμου): Hebrews 7:12; τῶν σαλευομένων, Hebrews 12:27. (Thucydides 5, 29; Aristotle, Piut.)

μοιχεύω, ";commit adultery";on the part of the man, occurs in the astrologicai PSI III. 158.45 (iii/A.D. ?) οἱ δὲ καὶ τὰς ἰδ [ί ]ας γυναῖκας μοιχεύουσιν : cf. Matthew 5:28.
