3. ἀ. φέρει brings discredit, disgrace, Id. EN 1126b33.

II in moral sense, indecorum, obscene or disgraceful conduct, Romans 1:27 : in pl., Ph. 1.78, Vett.Val. 61.31.

III euphem.for αἰδοῖον, LXX Leviticus 18:7,al.; for ἀπόπατος, ib. Deuteronomy 23:13(14).
