אַגְמוֹן and אַגְמֹן m.

(1)  a boiling caldron, Job 41:12 see אָגַם No. 1.

(2) a rush, reed, such as grows in marshes, from אֲגַם a marsh, and the termination וֹן, Isaiah 58:5. As to Isaiah 9:13, 19:15, comp. כִּפָּה.

(3) a rope of rushes, a muzzle of reeds, like the Greek σχοῖνος, Job 40:26, compare Plin.N.H.xix.2.
