דָּגָן const. state דְּגַן [with suff. דְּגָנִי] m. corn, from דָּגָה to multiply, like נָדָן from נָדָה. [But see the preceding root.] Genesis 27:28, 37 Genesis 27:37; Numbers 18:27; Deuteronomy 28:51 used of bread, Lamentations 2:12. (Arab. داجن, but it is only found in the Arabic versions of the Bible.)
