מוּשׁ

(1)  to yield, to give way, Numbers 14:44; Joshua 1:8; Isaiah 22:25, 54:10 59:21 Jeremiah 31:36.

(2) causat. to remove, to take away, Zechariah 3:9.

Hiphil

(1) to let remove, i.e. to let prey go, Nahum 3:1 to withdraw from any one, followed by מִן of persons. Micah 2:3, “from whom ye shall not remove your necks;” verse Micah 2:4.

(2) more frequently i.q. Kal to give way, Exodus 13:22, 33:11 Proverbs 17:13; Job 23:12; Psalms 55:12; Jeremiah 17:8, וְלֹא יָמִישׁ מֵעֲשׂוֹת פֶּרִי “and it shall not cease to bear fruit.”
