Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition

בַּחַן m., watch-tower (see the root No. 2), Isaiah 32:14, עֹפֶל וָבַחַן “the hill (Ophel) and the watch-tower on it.” It seems to denote a tower built on the hill Ophel, as to which see Nehemiah 3:26, 27.
