יְהַב (Daniel 3:28) imp. הַב Daniel 5:17 part. act. יָהֵב, pass. יְהִיב, pret. pass. יְהִיבַת, יְהִיבוּ Daniel 7:11, 12 Ezra 5:14 fut. and inf. are borrowed from נְתַן, comp. Syr. ܝܗ̱ܰܒ, fut. ܢܶܬܶܓ from ܢܬܰܓ = נְתַן. Ch. i.q. Heb.

(1) to give. Daniel 2:37, 38, 48, to deliver, to give over, Daniel 3:28, 7:11.

(2) to place, to lay (a foundation), Ezra 5:16.

Ithpeal, אִתְיְהֵב fut. יִתְיְהֵב, part. מִתְיְהֵב, to be given, or delivered, Daniel 4:13, 7:25, etc.
