18Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah and by Jerioth. These were Azubah’s sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon. 18 Kalev the son of Hetzron became the father of [children] of `Azuvah [his] wife, and of Yeri`ot; and these were her sons: Yesher, and Shovav, and Ardon. 18 And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon. 18 Caleb the son of Hezron fathered children by his wife Azubah, and by Jerioth; and these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon. 18 Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah and by Jerioth. Caleb and Azubah's sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon. 18 Caleb son of Hezron fathered sons by his wife Azubah (also known as Jerioth). Gill's Notes on the Bible

And the sons of Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron, were Ram the firstborn,.... So called by his father after the name of his brother, see 1 Chronicles 2:9

and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah; or "of Ahijah", as some r render it, this being the name of his wife, who bare him the sons before named, since mention is made of another wife in the next verse.

And Ahijah - There is no “and” in the original. Hence, some would read: “the sons” were born “of” or “from Ahijah,” the first wife of Jerahmeel (see the next verse).
