Voice of the Lord
Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send out workers to gather in his harvest (Matthew 9:38).
One of the most unique and meaningful words in the Bible is hineyni. If you learn how to say it right, it can change your life. Hineyni comes from the Hebrew word hiney, for which we have no comparable word in English. Hiney means, "Behold! There it is! Look! Whoa! Hey! Here!" So when hiney becomes hineyni, it means, "Behold me! Here I am!"
In the sixth chapter of Isaiah, the prophet is overcome with a sense of unworthiness. But when he hears a divine voice say, "Whom should I send?" (Isaiah 6:8), he shouts out, "Hineyni!" ("I'm here!")
The Lord asks you the same question: "Whom should I send?" He has a calling on your life. It will require you to step out against your fears. He's waiting not just to hear you say, "Here I am," but "Hineyni!" with an exclamation point. You need to be unequivocal and unconditional. "Hineyni! Here I am Lord. Send me. Wherever you lead, I will go!" Say it with joy, excitement, and with your whole heart. "Hineyni! Here I am. Send me!" And he will.
...say, "Hineyni!" to the Lord with an exclamation point!
