1 Chronicles 2:3

The sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him from the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the first-born of Judah, was evil in Jehovah's sight, and He killed him.

And Tamar his daughter-in-law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All Judah's sons were five.
