And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Bring the tribe of Levi near, and you shall cause it to stand before Aaron the priest. And they shall serve him,

and keep his charge, and the charge of all the congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.

And they shall keep all the vessels of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the sons of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

And you shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his son. Giving they shall be given to him out of the sons of Israel.

And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood. And the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.
