And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God sent me good speed.

And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.

so that I come again to my father's house in peace, then shall the LORD be my God,

And Laban said, It is not so done in our place, to give the younger before the firstborn.

And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week: and he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife.

So shall my righteousness answer for me hereafter, when thou shalt come concerning my hire that is before thee: every one that is not speckled and spotted among the goats, and black among the sheep, that if found with me shall be counted stolen.

but when the flock were feeble, he put them not in: so the feebler were Laban's, and the stronger Jacob's.

So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the River, and set his face toward the mountain of Gilead.

So the present passed over before him: and he himself lodged that night in the company.

So Esau returned that day on his way unto Seir.
