And Moses returned to Yahweh, and said, Lord, why have you dealt ill with this people? why is it that you have sent me?

Thus says Yahweh, In this you shall know that I am Yahweh: look, I will smite with the rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

And he said to them, So be Yahweh with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.

And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

And Moses said, This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded, Let a full omer of it be kept throughout your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Here is the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words.

And he said, Look, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as haven't been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which you are shall see the work of Yahweh; for it is an awesome thing that I do with you.

On a baking-pan it shall be made with oil; when it is soaked, you shall bring it in: in baked pieces you shall offer the meal-offering for a sweet savor to Yahweh.

And Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons, Don't let the hair of your heads go loose, neither rend your clothes; that you will not die, and that he is not angry with all the congregation: but let your brothers, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which Yahweh has kindled.

And he said, Now hear my words: if there is a prophet among you, I Yahweh will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.

All the heave-offerings of the holy things, which the sons of Israel offer to Yahweh, I have given you, and your sons and your daughters with you, as a portion forever: it is a covenant of salt forever before Yahweh to you and to your seed with you.

And Moses said to them, If the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man that is armed to battle, before Yahweh, and the land shall be subdued before you; then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:

And you shall do that which is right and good in the sight of Yahweh; that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which Yahweh swore to your fathers,

The graven images of their gods you shall burn with fire: you shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it to you, or else you will be snared therein; for it is disgusting to Yahweh your God.

And you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God, you, and your sons, and your daughters, and your male slaves, and your female slaves, and the Levite that is inside your gates, since he has no portion nor inheritance with you.

You shall not eat it; that it may go well with you, and with your sons after you, when you shall do that which is right in the eyes of Yahweh.

Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your sons after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the eyes of Yahweh your God.

If there is with you a poor man, one of your brothers, inside any of your gates in your land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother;

When you go forth to battle against your enemies, and see horses, and chariots, [and] a people more than you, you shall not be afraid of them; for Yahweh your God is with you, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

for Yahweh your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
