and came and settled in a city called Nazareth. This happened so that what was spoken through the prophets would be fulfilled: "He will be called a Nazarene."

and leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.

And the crowds were saying, "This is Jesus the prophet, from Nazareth in Galilee."

When he had gone out to the gateway, another slave woman saw him and said to those who were there, "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth."

In those days Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

saying, "What business do You have with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are: the Holy One of God!"

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in Galilee named Nazareth,

Now Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,

And when His parents had completed everything in accordance with the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.

And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued to be subject to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart.

And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read.

"Leave us alone! What business do You have with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!"

They told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the prophets also wrote: Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!"

Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good be from Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see."

"You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

"So I thought to myself that I had to act in strong opposition to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
