KJV – And it was told (8714) the king of Egypt that the people fled (8804): and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned (8735) against the people, and they said (8799), Why have we done (8804) this, that we have let Israel go (8765) from serving (8800) us?

KJV – Is not this the word that we did tell (8765) thee in Egypt, saying (8800), Let us alone (8798), that we may serve (8799) the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve (8800) the Egyptians, than that we should die (8800) in the wilderness.
