(az ri' kam) Personal name meaning, “my help stood up.” 1. Descendant of David after the Exile (1 Chronicles 3:23 ). 2 . Descendant of Saul of tribe of Benjamin (1 Chronicles 8:38 ). 3 . Father of a Levite who led in resettling Jerusalem after the Exile (1 Chronicles 9:14 ). 4 . Officer in charge of palace for Ahaz, king of Judah. Zicri, a soldier in Israel's army, killed him when Israel attacked Judah about 741 B.C. (2 Chronicles 28:7 ).
