Baalath
Holman Bible Dictionary
(bay' uh lath) Place name meaning, “feminine Baal.” City in original inheritance of tribe of Dan (Joshua 19:44 ). Same or different town which Solomon rebuilt (1 Kings 9:18 ). It may have been near Gezer on the road to Beth-horon and Jerusalem. Some would identify Solomon's town with Simeon's Balah, with Kirjath-jearim, or with Baalath-beer.
