Eran
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ee' ruhn) Personal name meaning, “of the city,” or “watchful.” Some of the earliest translations and the Samaritan Pentateuch read “Eden” rather than Eran. Eran was grandson of Ephraim and a clan leader in the tribe of Ephraim (Numbers 26:36 ).
