(gay' lal) Personal name meaning, “roll” or “turtle.” 1. A Levite in among those who settled in Jerusalem after the Exile (1 Chronicles 9:15 ). 2 . Grandfather of Adda, a Levite who led in Nehemiah's thanksgiving (Nehemiah 11:17 ). He came up and settled in Jerusalem after the Exile (1 Chronicles 9:16 ).
