(gee' ruh) Personal name meaning, “stranger,” “alien,” or “sojourner.” 1. A son of Benjamin and grandson of Jacob (Genesis 46:21 ). 2 .Grandson of Benjamin (1Chronicles 8:3,1 Chronicles 8:5 ). Son of Ehud and clan head in Geba who was exiled to Manahath (1 Chronicles 8:6-7 ). 3 . The Father of Ehud (Judges 3:15 , see 1. above). 4. Father of Shimei, who cursed David (2 Samuel 16:5 ).
