Harar

Resource Toolbox
(hay' ruhr) Geographical name perhaps related to Hebrew word for “mountain.” The word appears in slightly difficult forms in its appearances in the Hebrew Bible. Three of David's military heroes are related to Harar (2Samuel 23:11,2 Samuel 23:33 ; 1 Chronicles 11:34-35 ). Harar can either be a town, a region, a tribe, or a general reference to mountain country.
