Ichabod
Holman Bible Dictionary
(ihk' uh bahd) Personal name meaning “where is the glory?” The son of Phinehas, Eli's son (1 Samuel 4:21 ). His birth seems to have been precipitated by the news of the death of his father and the capture of the ark of the covenant in battle against the Philistines. The mother of Ichabod died immediately after the child's birth. See Eli .
