Kartan
Holman Bible Dictionary
(kahr' tan) Place name meaning, “city.” A Levitical city in the tribal territory of Naphtali (Joshua 21:32 ). Also called Kiriathaim (1 Chronicles 6:76 ). It was located near the Sea of Galilee. Usually identified with modern khirbet el-Qureiyeh. See Levitical Cities .
