Holman Bible Dictionary
(kehd' ih muh) Personal and tribal name meaning, “eastward.” The last son of Ishmael (Genesis 25:15; 1 Chronicles 1:31 ). Probably head of an Arabian tribe of the same name. Probably considered among the Kadmonites. See Kadmonites.
