(kih myoo' ehl)Personal name of uncertain meaning; perhaps meaning, “helper of God” or “assembly of God.” 1. The father of Aram, and the son of Abraham's brother Nahor (Genesis 22:21 ). 2 . The son of Shiphtan and representative of Ephraim in the division of Canaan among the tribes of Israel (Numbers 34:24 ). 3 . The father of Hashabiah, a Levite during the time of David (1 Chronicles 27:17 ).
