(mihn' ni) People inhabiting the mountainous area south of Lake Urmia northeast of the Tigris-Euphrates valley (Jeremiah 51:27 ). The Minni are among the tribes summoned to punish the wickedness of Babylon. The Minni are known as the Manneans in Assyrian inscriptions from 800 to 600 B.C.
