Mithan
Holman Bible Dictionary
(mith' uhn) Place name perhaps meaning, “gift.” Town of unknown location; home town of Joshaphat (1 Chronicles 11:43 ). Greek translation understood this as Bethany. Mithcah (Mith1 cah) KJV form of Mithkah, a place name meaning, “sweetness.” One of the wilderness stations (Numbers 33:28-29 ).
