Nachon
Holman Bible Dictionary
(nay' kuhn) KJV form of Nacon, meaning, “firm” or “prepared.” Threshing floor between Baal-judah (Kiriath-jearim) and Jerusalem (2 Samuel 6:6 ). The designation is either a place name or the name of the owner. Chidon is given as the owner's name in the parallel account (1 Chronicles 13:9 ).
