Nephtoah
Holman Bible Dictionary
(nehf toh' uh) Name meaning, “opening,” found only in the phrase “Waters of Nephtoah.” Boundary marker for Judah and Benjamin (Joshua 15:9; Joshua 18:15 ). The site was formerly identified with Atam south of Bethlehem. The most frequent identification is now Lifta about three miles northwest of Jerusalem.
