Raama(H)

Holman Bible Dictionary

(ray' uh maw) Son of Cush (Genesis 10:7 ) and ancestor of Sheba and Dedan Arab tribes occupying southwest and west-central Arabia (1 Chronicles 1:9 ). Raamah and Sheba were trading partners of Tyre (Ezekiel 27:22 ). Raama is likely modern Negram in Yemen, though the earliest Greek translation identified Raamah with Regmah on the Persian Gulf.
