KJV term for “prowl for food” or “feed greedily” (Psalm 22:13 ; Ezekiel 22:25 ,Ezekiel 22:25,22:27 ). KJV used ravin both as a verb meaning, “to prowl for food” ( Genesis 49:27 ), and as a noun meaning, “something taken as prey” (Nahum 2:12 ).
