Holman Bible Dictionary
(Tah' tihm-hahd' sshih) Site in northern Israel which David's census takers visited (2 Samuel 24:6 ). The name is not attested elsewhere, prompting various emendations: Kadesh in the land of the Hittites (REB, NRSV, TEV); and the land below Hermon.
