Zahar

Holman Bible Dictionary

(zay' hahr) Source of wool traded with Tyre (Ezekiel 27:18 NIV; “Sahar,” TEV; “Suhar,” REB). KJV, NAS, and RSV translate the Hebrew as “white wool.” If the Hebrew refers to a place, the association with Damascus and Helbon suggests a Syrian site, perhaps modern as-Sahra northwest of Damascus.
