Holman Bible Dictionary
(zehl' zuh) Unidentified site near Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin, site of the first of three signs which Samuel promised Saul as confirmation of his kingship (1 Samuel 10:1-2 ). Many commentators use Greek manuscript evidence to emend the Hebrew text to something other than a place name.
