Holman Bible Dictionary
(zihd' dihm) Place name meaning, “sides.” Fortified town in Naphtali (Joshua 19:35 ), perhaps identifical with Hattin el-Qadim about eight miles west northwest of Tiberias. Some commentators see it as copyist's repetition of “fenced cities.” See Zer .
