(zi' zuh) Personal name meaning, “shining” or “brightness.” 1. Son of Shiphi who was a part of the expansion of the tribe of Simeon into Gedor (1 Chronicles 4:37 ). 2 . Son of Shimei, a Levite from Gershon, following some manuscript and early translation evidence (1 Chronicles 23:10 ). “Zina” is the reading of KJV, NAS, REB following Hebrew text. 3. One of Rehoboam's sons by Maachah (2 Chronicles 11:20 ).
